Carolyn Chua is the assistant food editor of Chatelaine, Canada’s largest circulation women’s magazine, where she and the test kitchen team develop and write over 1,000 recipes a year. A graduate of Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines, she learned the love of cooking from her aunts, all of whom ran successful food businesses out of their homes. With a hectic career and three sons, Carolyn often relies on the magic of almost-from-scratch cooking at dinnertime. She’s been part of the illustrious National Post’s Shelf Life tasting panel for the last three years.
